Two days off and sick of s & rsquo; after the house ? then go, but where ? We considered several ideas like Barcelona, London or the UK. But we wanted to go with Athena, drive and discover a new city.

Hop a ride on my favorite booking site, Expedia, and here we are with a room at Martin & rsquo; s. Like a bad impression, we call the day before to confirm to them that we have with our dog (yes on the site c & rsquo; was it clear that c & rsquo; was good). and there, first concern. L & rsquo; hotel has since decided 2 weeks to no longer accept dogs… neither, or two, with & rsquo; with my girlfriend Gwen, we went in search of THE hotel would be ok even with Athena, the day before c & rsquo; is awesome.

After a 2:30 drive Wednesday morning, We therefore arrive at the Novotel Bruges. No complaints, we were very happy with the & rsquo; hotel, and its restaurant has saved our lives.

Arrived for the & rsquo; lunch, we decide, after putting our suitcases, test the restaurant gourmet Bar, that was in our hotel. You will have a wide choice of dishes from pasta, the burger through the typical stew. Prices are also very reasonable and what we ate was really good.

Let's explore the city. It is perfect if ever, like us, you want to go with your pooch. The city is visited exclusively on foot. Of course you can also visit the many churches, but we don & rsquo; have not wished to do. Only small problem, you can not make the walks through the channels with your hairy.

The city has a very medieval character, following his story, I really felt elsewhere and places full d & rsquo; history.

How to talk about Bruges without talk, chocolat ! I live with a chocolate-addict, then as you say that we ended up in a nearby town of Paradise for him. The streets are full of shops selling chocolate, attention to the tourist traps. We decided to & rsquo; buy chocolate for us and our loved ones in the Pralinique de Bruges, was tasted and approved and the lady was very friendly.

N & rsquo; remember that & rsquo; in Bruges you can find superb waffles… and pretty Christmas shopping.

Bruges n & rsquo; is not a city that I recommend if you looking for a long, but for 1 ou 2 days c & rsquo; is actually a very cute place. And you can as we enjoy on the back to stop at d & rsquo; other places. I will speak to you in a future article.

For those who like to travel with their dog, I inquired and apparently my dogs are accepted in almost all Novotel.
